April 15: CT Alzheimer’s Lobby Day

Attention caregivers and families! The Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter is holding an Alzheimer’s Lobby Day on Wednesday, April 15.

Assisted Living Services wants you to know about this opportunity for you to advocate for issues important to people with Alzheimer’s. The first hour of the event will be a meeting to discuss the CT Chapter’s legislative priorities, which include:

  • Respite care budget cuts
  • CT home care program budget cuts
  • Dementia education for hospital employees

Also, from 8:30 am – 3 pm you will have the opportunity to visit with your state representative and/or senator.
