Attorney Joan Reed Wilson received her law degree from Boston University School of Law, cum laude, in 1997. Attorney Wilson practices in the areas of estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, conservatorships, probate and trust administration and real estate. Admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and California, she is a active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), PLAN of CT and accredited with the Veteran’s Administration to assist clients with obtaining Aid & Attendance benefits for long-term care needs. Attorney Wilson is trained in elder law mediation and is a founding member of Senior Planning Solutions.

    Can a “bank account” be put into a trust ? I have a joint account with an elderly parent. The other items are already in my name. Just would like to put the account
    possibly in a trust. Another option would be to have the account in my name only.
