Quality Senior Care in CT

Assisted Living Services (ALS) provides the highest quality senior care in CT. As a family-owned company, we understand the importance of providing a healthy and safe environment for loved ones as they age. That is why we focus on quality in everything we do. We have one of the best Continuous Quality Improvement Programs in Connecticut and supporting processes.

Ensuring Quality Senior Care in CT

To establish a true measure of how we are doing, Assisted Living Services conducts a quarterly customer satisfaction survey.  We appreciate feedback from our customers and we reward employees for good service. The company gives thousands of dollars each year towards rewarding employees who go “above and beyond” or who have perfect attendance. Managers also receive incentives if benchmarks are achieved on our customer satisfaction surveys. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality senior care in CT.

Additionally, we only hire the best. Each prospective applicant is interviewed by a manager or owner (often by two people) using a formal process called “behavioral interviewing.” Each prospective employee must provide previous employment and character references, and then a National Criminal Background Check is performed which includes Motor Vehicle and arrest records. All new employees receive a formal orientation and continuing education, which includes company policies, customer service, safety, infection control, confidentiality, food preparation, Alzheimer’s / Dementia Care, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, and defensive driving.

To further ensure quality senior care in CT, our ALS managers do unannounced in-home visits to see how staff are doing and to assure that our clients are completely satisfied. Managers are also trained to inspect each home environment for safety issues.

These are just a few of the measures we take to ensure quality care. Again, we welcome any feedback on our services. Please call our office at 203-634-8668 if you have any comments or questions.
