Cindy Pelletier and her dad, Mr. Blanchette, enjoy a day of fishing

It’s not so unusual for our caregivers to go above and beyond the call of duty for our home care clients. We like to care for your family members as if they were our own. But don’t take our word for it. Cindy Pelletier, who’s father is one of our clients, sent this story in from Twin Lakes in Connecticut…

Dad and I July 10th fishing at Dad’s favorite spot Twin Lakes. I don’t know how we would have done it without Amos helping Dad. We had such a great day. As you can see the weather was gorgeous, the fishing was good and the four of us had a great time.  Al, my husband, played captain and did fishing. He didn’t do as well as the rest of us. Dad caught four, but seriously, the one that got away from Dad would have been a keeper! It put up a good fight but the fish won.

We all went fishing at twin lakes in Salisbury, CT. Dad was the fisherman of the day. He caught the most trout (4).  I caught the biggest (16″). They have to be 20″ to keep, so all of them went back safe and sound. Amos had a good time.  He caught some and it was his first time fishing on a pontoon boat. He takes Dad to the rivers fishing.

Thanks to Cindy for the great story, and thanks to Amos for going above and beyond for our clients. He’s a true hero![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

  1. Without assisted living I don’t know what I would do. I have tried many agencies that were a real nightmare but I won’t get into that. With out Assisted Living I myself would be in a nursing home. Ron, Tom and the whole crew have been so wonderful to me and my Dad. If you have a question they are always there to answer it for you and point you in the best direction. I can’t say enough about them.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart .
