Not all Connecticut Home Care Agencies are alike. We are delighted to report that when we analyzed data from recent Live-in Companion customer surveys that 100% of the dozens that responded gave us the highest possible rating for the question “What is the likelihood that you would  recommend Assisted Living Services, Inc. to others?”

Along with this, each month Assisted Living Services, Inc. carefully reviews the direct feedback it receives about it’s employees from clients, Geriatric Case Managers, family members, VNA nurses, and through direct observation by our managers and owners that perform unnanounced Quality Assurance Visits.  Then we select and present awards to our top performers.

June 2012 was “The Month of the Live-in’s” because all three of the staff recognized this month are Live-in Companions.  Mavis Owusu, Margaret Haase, and Rita Smith have provided superior services to their clients – the kind of services people rave about.  Our Company President, Sharon D’Aquila personally presented each employee with their award and a cash bonus while visiting with their clients today. Mary Scagliarini, RN our Live-in Co-ordinator, was also in attendance.  It was a great day as clients told heartwarming stories about what their caregiver means to them.

  1. Margaret Haase is SO worthy of this recognition. There is no doubt in my mind that my mother would not be alive if it wasn’t for the outstanding care provided by Margaret. She is a blessing to our family.

    1. Thank you so much for the powerful comment! Margaret has been wonderful for many of our clients. In the past she has joked with me about how she likes pizza and I should bring her one…so I told her to tell me what day and I will stop at Pepe’s and bring a bunch of them for her and our other staff and clients where she is…and have a little party.
