Congrats to Mario D’Aquila

Assisted Living Services, Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Mario D’Aquila to Vice President of Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. and Director of Business Development for Assisted Living Services, Inc. Mario recently earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University with Honors, and was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society for Business.

Previously, Mario served as Business Developer and Project Manager for Assisted Living Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Assisted Living Services, Inc. established in 2010. The company provides primarily wireless, sensor-based, technologically advanced products that provide seniors and individuals with disabilities with an improved quality of life and the ability to age-in-place.

Mario has played a major role in growing the technology side of the business with the support of a dedicated team of Assistive Technologies Specialists. The company’s main technologies showroom is located in Meriden; however, Mario has worked with the New England Assistive Technology Center (NEAT) to open another showroom in their Hartford facility. One of his greatest achievements is the work he has done with the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services to help safely transition numerous individuals with various disabilities from state programs into community based settings – improving their quality of life and saving the State significant funds.
