Personal Care Assistant

Personal Care Assistants play an integral role in allowing seniors and the elderly to remain independent within a safe environment at home. The supportive care services that each personal care assistant provides focus on the individual’s unique needs for personal health, safety and well-being in the home setting. Personal care services provided by Assisted Living can include:

• Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
  
• Providing medication reminders
  
• Mobility assistance and transferring
  
• Meal preparation and feeding
  
• Incontinence care

Our personal care attendants are well suited for the older individual who has been identified as having a chronic and stable condition by his or her practitioner. The assistance provided by our personal care attendants is respectful and caring and can ultimately support each client in regaining a sense of empowerment, independence, and self-worth that may have felt lost.
