Established in 1996, Assisted Living Services, Inc. provides quality in-home eldercare services to clients and their families throughout Connecticut. The company today has more than 200 staff and caregivers providing a broad range of services to hundreds of customers in 50+ townships in the state. Assisted Living Services is owned and operated by Sharon and Ron D'Aquila. Sharon's previous work experience is with the Connecticut State Police and Ron is a Registered Nurse with over twenty years of acute care, community health and managerial experience. Between the two of them, they bring the right balance to a business that must focus on reliability, trustworthiness, and high quality service. Our mission is to provide a broad range of services which promote independent living and help to maintain each client in his/her home environment as long as possible. Through these services, elder adults will be able to live their lives at the highest level of quality possible, maintain dignity, hold onto their assets, and stay healthier--both in mind and body.
Our History
Owner Sharon D'Aquila experienced first-hand the ups and downs of caring for an elderly loved one who wished to live in his home as long as possible. As she pursued resources to assist in his care, she recognized a lack of quality non-medical in-home services. Based on this experience, Sharon and Ron then established Assisted Living Services, one of the fastest growing businesses of its type in Central Connecticut.
